Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to popular questions about working with tourists and organizing tours
Tourist Meeting
4 questionsThe guide meets the tourist at a pre-agreed location (hotel, airport, train station) with a sign showing the company logo and tourist's name. The day before, the guide contacts the tourist to confirm the time and place.
If the tourist is late, the guide waits at the meeting point for up to 15 minutes free of charge. If the delay is longer, please contact the manager to clarify the possibility of extending the wait or rescheduling.
At the meeting, check for the tour voucher (electronic or printed) and the tourist's ID document for data verification.
At the first meeting, greet the tourist, introduce yourself, briefly outline today's plan, check for necessary items (water, comfortable shoes), and answer initial questions.
Conducting the Tour
4 questionsConducting a tour includes following the route, providing interesting and accurate information, keeping to the schedule, and ensuring the safety and comfort of the group at all stages.
Minor route changes are possible by agreement with the guide if they don't affect the overall program and safety. Major changes require approval from the company office.
Time at sites is allocated according to the approved tour program. The guide monitors timing to ensure the group visits all planned locations without rushing.
To maintain interest, alternate historical facts with interesting stories and legends, take photo breaks, actively engage tourists in dialogue, and monitor their emotional state.
